There's always beauty in symmetry, but that's why its easy. We wanted to create a beautiful product using principles of assymetry. Though challenging , and perhaps because of it, we knew the creation will stand the test of time. This is n. Space.

To interpret n.Space, we carefully curated a vast array of beautiful material compositions. In timeless patterns of wood, or refined lines of solid acrylic, each combination is an inimitable rendition of the form.

n.Space uses sensors, machine learning and
predictable biological data to identify the
moments when you hit a slump, like the
ones you feel in the afternoons or when
you work at a stretch without a break.

hit a slump, it uses the activity lamps
on the worktop to remind
you to break it.

Just move to break the slump.

When the lamps light up, even just getting up from your desk and taking a
quick walk will immediately rejuvenate you. There is nothing more effective
at keeping up your state of mind than an activity at these key moments.

There's another way to break the slump
when the lamps light up - just stand and
bring your work up to you. The moment
you stand, you get more oxygen
and you can focus better throughout the
time you stand and work.

As n.Space knows your work pattern, it
also tells you through the activity lamps
exactly how long you need to stand to
break the slump.

Warranty

Charcoal warrants all it’s products against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of FIVE (5) YEARS from the date of original retail purchase by the end-user purchaser.
The warranty does not apply to,
a. cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches and dents unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship;
b. damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, fire, liquid contact, earthquake or other external cause;
c. damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not a representative of Charcoal;
d. a Charcoal Product that has been modified to alter functionality or capability without the written permission of Charcoal;
e. defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to normal aging.

Unless stated otherwise, all Charcoal products will be delivered and installed within 4 weeks from the date of original retail purchase.

Solid Acrylic
Solid Acrylic is easy to maintain. Once a week, use a damp microfibre cloth to remove everyday abrasive particles, this should remove any stains as well. For persistent residues, all you need is warm soapy water or any household cleaner. Wipe the countertop dry in circular motions immediately afterwards. Solid Acrylic is a remarkably durable material that’s inherently renewable because it is solid and homogeneous all the way through. Most damage, including severe impact, heat or chemical damage, can usually be repaired on site to restore the original, smooth, hygienic solid surface integrity. Please contact us in the case of such severe damage.

Wood Veneer
For routine care, dust regularly with a slightly damp, soft, lint-free cloth and then wipe dry with a dry, soft cloth in the direction of the wood grain. Spills should be immediately wiped up with a damp cloth. Use coasters for glasses and mugs. Let glass surfaces rest on felt pads. Don’t let vinyl binders stay on a surface for very long. Use protective pads under equipment with “rubber” cushioning feet. Some chemical compounds used in the feet on office equipment, such as printers and monitor stands, may leave permanent stains or marks.

If it weren't for computers, we would be working just as people did a hundred years ago. Look around, every other object has such primitive functions; a desk is just a surface to hold things up or an article of clothing is just a surface on the skin or a bag is just a surface for carrying things. But, what if each product that we interact with had the potential to do more for you?

We spent three years creating desks that help you work better by elevating your state of mind. This is the kind of potential we think we can realize for the world by evolving these primitive objects. Here's a glimpse of some products we are working on now - work focused clothing more comfortable than anything else out there, that also maintains the temperature of the body. A line of beautiful accessories that opens only when you touch it.Fundamentally, what we do is evolve primitive objects using great design and great tech, one product at a time.
